Terms of Use

The Boroughs Quiz (the "Services") explores the common idea that New Yorkers can identify what borough other New Yorkers are from based on the way that they talk.

The Services are made available through NewYorkCityAccents.com (the "Website"), and various communication mediums such as email, SMS, and telephone.

The Services are provided in connection with a research study led by Professor Kara Becker at Reed College and other researchers (the "Researchers").

These Terms and Condition ("Terms") govern your use of the Services, and by using our Services in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may make changes to these Terms, and your continued use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of any such changes.

  3. Warranty Disclaimers

YOU USE THE SERVICES AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE; NOR DO WE MAKE ANY WARRANTY AS TO THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM USE OF THE SERVICES.
